So, since everyone is voicing their opinion, I’ll voice mine.

#1- I don’t care if you smoke weed or not, no judgment from me one way or the other.

#2- Complaining about people in statuses is JUST as annoying as the statuses themselves.

#3- Your 21st birthday, St. Patrick’s Day & New Year’s Eve are known throughout the country as specific days in which people drink alcohol to the point of blacking out, getting sick, crashing cars, being obnoxious and rude. That’s THREE specific days, in one year, and two days per year, for the remainder of our lives. Quit your bitching. Alcohol kills. Marijuana does not. Alcohol is addictive. Marijuana is not. Alcohol can be overly consumed, to the point of vomit and/or blacking out. Marijuana won’t. Alcohol has been known to make people loud, rude, obnoxious, violent and utterly immoral. Marijuana makes people quiet, laid back, pensive and somewhat euphoric. Give those people posting their 4/20 statuses this ONE day a year, to celebrate doing something that hurts NO one, unlike alcohol, which kills massive sums of people every year.

I am not anti-alcohol, I’m just educated on the matter of alcohol vs. marijuana, and I make my assessment based on the information that our species has provided in our history.

And as for any of you with the “but it’s illegal” argument, so is gay marriage in most of the United States. By that logic, you are also saying that gay marriage is not ok, solely based on it’s legal status. In addition, most of you people using the “legality” of the subject as your litmus, you probably drive over the speed limit, don’t use your blinker and drive without a seatbelt.

If you are straightedge, and dislike the idea of drinking & smoking, that’s fine too. Just don’t be douchebags to people about it. In my opinion, we as the human race, “shouldn’t” be douchebags to anyone.

And, in closing, Happy Earth Day, our planet is beautiful and amazing.
